Review Cases
Cases are brought to the board for treatment review, including review of the treatment plan, setup, lab cost expectations, the treatment sequence, or questions about transitioning care. This facilitates reviewing a plan early before changes get expensive. Similar cases and different treatment options can be reviewed and compared.
Serve as a Sounding Board
Treatment plan and case reviews can be brought to the board prior to talking to a specialist or committing to a plan.
Make Presentations
Small presentations are made by advisors to show specific techniques, interesting cases, new materials, computer programs, or the sequence of care. Such presentations reinforce the development of the group and encourage progress.
Identify Patients for Clinical Sessions
Advisors recruit patients for clinical sessions who present current examples of the type of work you want the group to evaluate. Treatment in progress allows a better overview of all phases of care.
Review and Share Literature
Interesting dental articles or publications are brought to the group by advisors.
